Hrmm, OK. Since I sincerely doubt the re-install of h1susomc had anything to do with the mode cleaner re-locking, I don't think there's a smoking gun here. 

The reboot of MC2 was at 17:47:18 PDT, 4 minutes before, and the iop model for HAM2 was reinstalled earlier at 17:46:14 PDT.

This is still a mystery and Tuesday afternoon was still waste of time then!
