We finished installing all the electronics, optics and the computer for the ETMX HWS yesterday.

Electronics:

The elecrtonics are described in E1100891-v12. The actual ETM HWS electronics are limited to:

1. Dalsa (Hartmann) Camera Switch

2. RCX CLink (CameraLink to Fiber-optic converter) switch

Both these channels were confirmed to be working in EPICS and Beckhoff.

Also, we connected the fiber-optics between the camera and the framegrabber on the computer. We confirmed a successful connection by running the serial communications program and bringing up the camera parameters on the computer screen (see attached photo).

Issues:

Cable 3 in E1100891 (5-pin Conec in-table power cable for the electronics) uses three of 5 pins. The wrong pins were connected in that cable (PINS 1,4 and 5 were used but we were supposed to have PINS 1, 2 and 4). I fixed this cable in the EE shop.

Optics:

All the optics are aligned. The return green beam is centered on the Hartmann plate. We still need to move the Hartmann sensor along the optical axis to place it at the conjugate plane of the ETM HR surface.
