BSC-6 ICC
The crew was split today.

Half of the crew worked on the dome. After the dome was lifted and the C-3 cover was removed, the crew started on the first checklist items: 1.)The conflat was removed 2.) The interior condition was documented and 3.) A particular area was investigated for contamination.

The other half of the crew worked in and around the chamber. Viewports, camera, and illuminator were removed and preserved in a clean condition. The chamber interior was documented, pre-work wipe samples/FTIRs were taken, and the flooring was installed. Pre-work inspections, including the support tube surfaces, were conducted. Fibers were found on the support tubes. (No surprise there. That's 3 BSCs and 3 sets of support tubes with large fibers attached!)The fibers were photographed and then vacuumed off. The support tubes were wrapped in foil and C-3. Bellows protection was installed. Dust barriers were installed in both door nozzles to help protect the door/chamber flange area since both doors are still in place. That means brushing can get started tomorrow. GO TEAM!
