Some guardian tweaks to be aware of:
-
Some settings in the OMC guardian were changed so that the AS45Q → OMC DC scaling factor calculation is more robust. The averaging time for the data is slightly longer, and the scaling is taken to be the median rather than the mean. Over the course of five lock acquisitions today, we measured the DARM OLTF both before and after transitioning to dc readout, and we did not see any degredation of the loop gain.
-
On several occasions, the roll mode damping gains in the guardian were too large and caused lockloss. Therefore, they are now reduced by a factor of 5. The full gains are set in the DC_READOUT state.
