Bug in SUS ITMY Bounce / Roll / Violin Mode Damping Input Signal Found, Fixed, and Installed
J. Kissel, E. Hall, S. Dwyer

The SUS models got a full makeover this morning (see LHO aLOG 19655), in which a lot of top-level model changes were made. It was not until much later in the evening that we were finally able to get to full-interferometry that might begin to resolve the QUADs highest-frequency vertical and roll (a.k.a. Bounce / Roll modes) and violin modes. Thus it was not until then we discovered that ITMY's top-level wiring for the error signals for each of these loops was incorrect. It was a simple bug to fix; it only took two tries to fix it (it's getting late...); but I've now fixed the bug. Unfortunately, as of this aLOG we haven't get *back* up to that same point in the locking sequence, but Evan was able to confirm with offsets that all signals are going to the right banks now. We've confirmed that all other test masses' wiring is correct.

I've committed the new top-level models.

This required taking the ITMY SEI system to DAMPED (so that we don't take down HEPI), taking ITMY SUS to SAFE, recompiling, re-installing, restarting, and restoring the SUS, and then bringing the chamber back up.

We don't think the problems re-locking are because of this quick restart. There are yet still more issues to track down.
