My bad, after the round of SSH fixes to get the 2FA auth running again on cdsssh and cdslogin I forgot to restart the cell phone texter service on cdslogin. Gerardo noticed that we didn't get our daily 1pm vacuum summary texts today, which lead to the discovery that the service had been down since 4pm yesterday.
