5.1 & 6.3 Earthquakes From Chile (Mid-shift Summary)
Earthquakes ringing planet (& L1/H1 lockloss).
- Foreboding Seismic: 8:50 Noticed the 5.1Chile EQ on Terramon with 0.27um/s due to arrive at 9:05UTC. Low freq seismic were on rise before arrival. 9:05 came and went.
- 9:34 Lockloss
- 9:35-10:03 Mode: Acquisition: Worked on getting back up, but having various issues during lock acquisition (ALSX alignment off, dropping out of DRMI a few times, and then we started to be having the IMC drop out during ALS & DRMI.

10:03 Mode: Earthquake: Terramon then displayed 9:58 6.1 quake with 4.6um/s velocity. I didn't really notice this come up because a much smaller Oklahoma quake took the top spot.
- 0.03-0.1 Seismic Band went up to 1.0 um/s (usually hovers at 0.01um/s), this is higher than the EQ which caused last lockloss around 12-14:00utc yesterday. (it looks like it's turning around and trending down).
- What To Do: Deciding whether to (1) wait for seismic to ring down, or (2) try an Initial Alignment. I'm thinking I'll wait for seismic to come down. Time for lunch?
- NOTE: NO watchdogs tripped at all. So no thoughts of taking down watchdogs to a safe mode. Will simply wait out seismic and see what happens.
~10:50 Left to cook salmon and bagel/cream cheese, and set ISC_LOCK to DRMI
11:22 Came back to H1 locked on DRMI (since 11:18)
NOTE: So DRMI finally locked up, and on the 0.03-0.1 seismic band, the velocity was down to 0.1um/s. Recap:
Observation Mode was set to Earthquake from 10:03-11:34 (should be more like 9:30-11:18, where 11:18-11:33 would be Lock Acquisition).
11:35 Back to Observation Mode (with a range trending toward 80Mpc).
ITM ISI GS13 SDFs ACCEPTED with HI gain.
