we tested the ability for a front end computer to send syslogs to the central loghost with mixed results. We tested on h1pemmx and h1pemmy. We were able to send the dmesg string to the loghost, and output from the command line "logger". We were unable to send sshd logs. When we repeated the process on the DTS (logging to Ryan's loghost) we were able to log everything. Work is ongoing.
