Today we tested the functionality of the ion pump mounted at X2-8 using a local controller and cable -> pump works as expected -> We also changed the oil and filter on the diesel generator and finished installing the heat tapes etc. on the ion pump-connecting vacuum hardware -> We will start the 72 hr. bake out of the new ion pump Monday morning.  We will need access to BT port X2-8 every 10 hrs. or so between 0900 Monday morning thru Wednesday afternoon to refuel the generator.
