TITLE: 12/7 DAY Shift: 16:00-00:00UTC (08:00-16:00PDT), all times posted in UTC
STATE of H1:
Incoming Operator: Nutsinee
Support: Hugh, TJ, Jenne, Ed, Sheila
Quick Summary:
Rough day with first part of shift for HAMISI restoration. Then a few hours on Input Mirror restoration. Then went for an Input Alignment. The arms were a bit out & we noticed yaw clipping of ALS video. Upon Ed's suggestion, we adjusted PR3 to maximize the COMM Beatnote, and this was mainly in yaw and this took care of misalignment in the arms.
Then we moved to INPUT_ALIGN, but saw no action for the IR x-arm, nor on the AS AIR video. Sheila eventually figured out PR2 was the culprit. (after noticing a subtle issue with PR2 on the Guardian Overview). Basically after the earthquake, PR2 was only restored to DAMPED, but it should have been restored to its NOMINAL value of ALIGNED.
After this we moved through alignment, but we got stuck on the Dark Michelson (similar to Cheryl's experience last night). Sheila and crew are addressing this issue now.
