TMS coil driver binary I/O problem

We noticed that the we cannot damp, excite, nor move TMS.

Further inspection showed that the DAC and AI were working (10 volts when we gave huge offsets), but all channels were zero volt in the cable connecting the driver and the satelite box. When we connected the AI output cable to the test input of the driver instead of the coil input, we were able to move TMS.

It appears that the problem is somewhere in binary I/O.

It used to work. We've been damping TMS for months, but haven't done any actuation for the past two weeks or so as far as I remember. Something happened between now and late February. When it worked, I didn't have to do anything for the binary I/O to enable the coil driver after restarting model. It just worked (TM).

The TMS was working after the upgrade to 2.4.1 on Feb 11th, but appears to have stopped working around the time of the 2.4.2 upgrade. I noticed that some of the front end C code was changed on Feb 16th, but the system was not recompiled and restarted with this until the 2.4.2 build last week.

We ran h2sustmsy against the target_archive backup from feb 11th but it still is not driving the optic. So perhaps the new code has nothing to do with this, but the TOP function does control the binary outputs. Investigation is continuing. Currently the TMS is still running the 2.4.1 build.
