freeing up disk space on /ligo
I'm doing the usual tricks of freeing up some disk space on /ligo (compressing old autoburt snap files, removing core files). Don't be alarmed if the free space drops while I am doing this.
done for today. I tarr'ed and gzip'ed the hourly autoburt files for Nov 2014, Dec 2014 and Jan 2015. I also removed all the core files from within /ligo/svncommon (99 of them, 52GB in size). The free disk space went up from 166GB to 338GB, freeing 172GB.
