The smoothing of the CP level is done on the milliamps read in from the ADC before it is converted to a percentage full. Currently the smoothing parameter is set to 0.999 on each of the CPs. I have attached full data trends over an hour of the level of each CP read in milliamps before and after being smoothed. They all appear reasonable.

The code for the smoothing filter and a dataviewer template with the channels used for the trends is also attached.
