TITLE: 11/06 Day Shift: 16:00-00:00 UTC (08:00-16:00 PST), all times posted in UTC
STATE of H1: Commissioning

SHIFT SUMMARY:

Spent most of the day attempting locks with the ITM Ring Heaters OFF (I took a step back by turning them on a couple of times).  Stefan still has us in this configuration--one note is that MODE27 rings up fast in this state!  Currently, taking its gain to 0 slows it down (& then finding a better gain is the current recipe to address this MODE).

LOG:

• Spent first couple of hours attempting to get H1 locked.
• Bubba turned water back on at the LSB.
• 18:09 NLN (25W & no ITM Ring Heater)
• 18:20 Robert heading out to EX (took BRS to WINDY_NOBRSX) & he will disable the ETMx Oplev Pit damping)
• Stefan has arrived and is working on Ring Heater settings.
• 19:47 Robert back out to EX to install black glass (BRS is still off at EX).
  • 19:54 Robert heard an alarm at the DC Power Supply racks when he arrived at EX.  Just wanted us to make a note of this.
• 20:16 SEI_CONF switched back to WINDY (Robert is done with end station work)
• Spent the rest of the afternoon locking H1 and giving Stefan and Robert opportunities with H1 without ITM Ring Heaters.
