TITLE: 11/11 Eve Shift: 00:00-08:00 UTC (16:00-00:00 PST), all times posted in UTC

STATE of H1:

INCOMING OPERATOR: TJ

SHIFT SUMMARY: Arrive just in time for OAF crashing. OAF continued to crash throughout the shift, almost always two hours apart (the first and second crash of this log was almost exactly one hour apart). Makes me wonder if there's a time bomb hidden somewhere. No PI issue after restarting.

 

Request from Terra: If you're in Observe please make a note of the time that you change PI settings (phase, damping gain) so people could study whether or not chaning PI settings affect the data.

 

LOG:

00:08 Fil headed to CER

00:32 Fil out. First ADC card replaced.

01:21 While no one is poking the IFO, I set the intent bit.

~1:22 started changing PI phase for Mode 28

01:34 Chnge phase Mode 27 and 26, Out of Observing shortly after, back to commissioning.

02:33 OAF crashed/ successfully restarted without PI breaking the lock.

04:34 OAF crashed again as soon as I set the intent bit. Sorry data folks. I also accidently ran a2l script when I was trying to run the model restart script. No harm done. 

05:18 Intent bit set since no one was doing anything invasive

05:28 OAF crashed. All recovered 05:32, took about 5 minutes for TCS guardians to find lock point.
