X-end - Previous attempt at drying X-end volume (see entry from 11/9/2010) was too laborsome for minimal benefit -> Tried different approach today.  Roughed down volume to <100 torr then backfilled to ~1 psig with dry air this resulted in -35C air blowing out of VE when purge line decoupled -> Repeated exercise this time going down to <10 torr then backfilling -> will pump X-end normally tomorrow.
