SHIFT SUMMARY:

• 2  full locklosses caused by reasons unknown to me. Recovery of both was slightly hindered by a finicky OMC which took 2 attempts
• 1 Lockloss occured after DC readout and before NLN. I don't know why that happened either. 
• i made a pre-emptive strike on PI mode 23 based on Kiwamu/Terra information.
  • PI mode damping involved some more freq adjusting to have good PLL. It seems that there was some correlation reported by Terra of mode 23 and glitchy/lossy range. While this mode doesn't glaringly ring up it was riding around 1e¹ for a bit. I played with phase and gain and with Terra on the phone watching, i seemed to have driven it down considerably based on the previous days summary page and some of today's as well the BNS range looked quite stable as well. I left settings for that mode to follow for the next operator shifts as this damping isn't written into guardian so everything reets upon lockloss.

  • I was successful in damping it by first adjusting the set freq and then changing to 90˚phase and 1000 gain.

  • I wasn't able to test the actuality of my actions with mode 23 due to lockloss and a different set of PI conditions with the new lock, however I did return the settings for that mode to what I had set them to previously

  • I also had to switch on a BP filter to gain control of mode 27 which seemed to be impervious to my efforts at first. I finally got a lock going that looks like it will hold for a while. 

• No Initial alignment has been necessary and I ran a2l before switching the Intent Bit.
• No further temperature excursions being reported by VerbalAlarms
