At the request of the control room and as outlined in WP #6607 the new nds client package has been made the default on the debian 8 workstations.  You no longer need to source an additional environment file or do a javaaddpath in matlab.

The default matlab (2012b) for the debian 8 workstations will pick up the new client by default.

This does not affect the remaining Ubuntu12 systems (including the guardian).
