I analyzed the spherical power measured by HWSY from last night's lock and compared it to the estimated thermal lens from the SIM model. Once the HWS and SIM models were all put into the same single-pass scale (HWS data measures a double-pass of the test mass thermal lens and the SIM data estimates the single-pass thermal lens), I could see that the SIM model was underestimating the thermal lens by about 25%.
The old absorption value was 280ppb. The new absorption value (required to fit the SIM model estimate to the HWS data) is 360ppb.
