OWL Operator Summary
TITLE: 07/03 Owl Shift: 07:00-15:00 UTC (00:00-08:00 PST), all times posted in UTC
STATE of H1: Observing at 64Mpc
INCOMING OPERATOR: Patrick
SHIFT SUMMARY:
H1 has been humming along (approaching 11hrs of lock). Had a PCalY alert (see below).
Fire Status: DOT has SR240 & SR24 road closures in effect atleast until noon when they reasses (attached is a closure map from WSDOT Facebook Page). Don't see flames or smoke plumes in the daylight, but it is still pretty hazy/smoky out. One can smell faint smoke in Control Room (have had possible smoke irritations during shift).
LOG:
- DIAG_MAIN alarm: PCAL Y RX PD is greater than 1% off (have had this throughout the shift & Patrick said this is a known issue)
- There were a few trips to the Roof Observation deck throughout the shift.

The PCalY Rx PD power variation is indeed under active investigation. While this has been known since October (see aLOGs 30827 and 30877 and attached image for Sep-Oct for original issue). Problem returned and was discussed in aLOGs 36208, 34153, 33108, and 33187. Problem is being noticed now again, since May (see attached image for Jan-Jun).
