State of H1: Relocking

Shift Summary: After second lockloss and could not relock ran an initial alignment. Had a bit of trouble with the MITCH_DARK stage, but after several tries and an assist from Sheila, completed the initial alignment. Tried relocking. Cannot make it past CHECK_IR. Wind is up, with gusts well into the upper 30mph range. X and Y microseism is up to 0.3um/s. BRS-X RY_INMON is off the charts right now. The winds are forecast to abate around 22:00PT. Going to hold in DOWN until things quiet down before trying to relock.

Getting high dust counts at End-Y. Caused by high winds and heavy forest fire smoke.

Environmental conditions are improving, so will try relocking.

Relocking no go. Rerun initial alignment. Twice initial alignment stuck at SCR_ALIGN LOCKING_SRY; and twice it tripped the SRM WD.  

On third try made it through initial alignment. Trying to relock.   

Slowly working through the relocking steps. Turn over to Ed; perhaps he will have better results.
