Picos for the MC2 trans is set (Ed, Corey, Cheryl, PeterK, Keita)

Used the mirrors on the PSL room to center the beam on two irises in HAM2 (for MC1) and HAM3 (for MC2) defining the MC1-MC2 beam axis inside the MC.

Then we placed a second iris on HAM3  that was centered on the beam, so there are two irises on HAM3 that is centered on MC1-MC2 beam axis. According to Cheryl the iris for the MC2 beam position could be off in YAW by less than a mm or so (totally inconsequential in the end) , but it should be pretty accurate in PIT.

We used a red laser pointer and two steering mirrors to inject red beam that is coaxial with MC1-MC2 beam line.  The laser pointer was mounted on top of a class A breadboard and attached to the edge of the ISI (we sacrificed a spare QPD sled breadboard for this).

We looked at the transmission of the MC2 on MC2 TRANS QPD and found that the beam was very low. It was also off in YAW but note the caveat about the YAW beam position above.

We centered the beam on QPD, rotated the QPD in YAW so that the reflection is correctly sent to the beam dump.

I and Corey removed the red laser pointer setup and two steering mirrors from HAM3.

LVEA is transitioned to laser hazard.

PSL is in commissioning mode (it's been like that for days), the PSL room light is ON but ante room light is OFF.

Tomorrow we'll bypass the MC beam.
