Today Travis and I used the ergo arm to install the new ITMx optic (ITM07) into the QUAD lower structure parked in the biergarten. Thanks in advance to Jeff K for the photo shoot session he performed during this (see attached). We put a few more laser barrier walls in place and firmed up the layout of the space so that Jason can start loading in and setting up IAS survey equipment needed for the fiber welding. We also added the temporary "back stops" tooling fixture to the AR side of the ITM optic since the "real" stops are on the reaction chain structure across the room.
Note - prior to installing the new test mass, Travis tidied up the PUM horns, and I wiped the PUM and the entire structure to remove particulate likely generated from the disassembly of the suspension (mostly metal flakes observed in the wipes and on surfaces). First Contact is still on the HR and AR optic surfaces of ITM07.
Thanks to Bubba and Mark for craning the ergo arm and the engine hoist out of the biergarten in order to help us with some tight real estate issues. Also thanks to Christina and crew for cleaning all of those black laser panels yesterday.
