This afternoon Travis and I made another sweep through refining the ETMY suspension alignments and OSEM adjustments, picking up where we last left off.
- Watching the OPLEV to guide in alignment (while iterating through each step with alignment, locking down, and freedom checks) we:
- Centered and adjusted UIM BOSEMs and magnet-flags
- Took quick TFs to make sure chain was free before more alignment
- Made mechanical YAW correction, quit when we were at 80uRad usage of YAW bias slider (as close as we could get with mechanical adjustments)
- Made PITCH mechanical correction since flag and yaw adjustments threw that off (redistribution of weight)
- Locked down UIM Pitch adjuster screws (which knocked pitch alignment off so had to repeat a few times)
- Re-centered all top BOSEMs in order to run TFs
- Ran quick TFs again.
Next up: Install BRDs from Kissel, repeat all above if necessary. Install payload balance of sleeve, wedges, VAs, etc. Then handoff to next team (TMS).
