Terry, Sheila, Nutsinee,
In addition to the work this morning on the DC diodes, we made some more alignment progress in HAM6 this afternoon.
- We saw that we are able to scan both OPO PZTs using the scan code that Daniel added in Beckhoff.
- With the OPO scanning we aligned the flashes to the two apertures which placed to mark the location of the beam rejected by the OFI. To do this we had to move slightly the last mirror on the opo platform for the squeezed field, this might have an impact on the balancing of the OPO suspension.
- We aso had to make a large pitch adjustment on ZM1, which means that that osems need to be recentered. We turned off the damping loops on ZM1 because the suspension seemed to damp faster without the damping loops on.
- We set the beam diverter so that when it is in the "Open" position on the medm screen, it is diverting the beam towards SQZT6. This is aligned through the viewpoint simulator, and onto the persicope and a DC diode on SQZT6.
- Terry worked on the alignment of the refl beams on SQZT6, we should be able to see a green transmission beam now but we don't. (It may just have very low power).
We are now finished with the viewpoint simulator, and ready to inject light into HAM5.
