After a couple of failed attempts at optical-lever-test-mass-charge measurements, Kissel and I went out to End-Y to check that the ESD high voltage is turned on. The power supplies outside the VEA were on. However the HV chassis (in the VEA) was not active (button on the front), and the low voltage chassis below it was also off (switch on the back). Note that for the HV ON/OFF button on the quad medm screen is only functional when the low voltage chassis is on. If the low voltage chassis is off this button is misleadingly green, and unresponsive.

 

All these things are now turned on.
