After the contrast defect was fixed this afternoon, we tried to lock PRMI and saw that we still have poor build ups.
PR2 Camera
- Gabriele and I focused the PR2 camera on the IR spots. We would like to try again tomorrow to take a snap shot with the illuminator on and the camera focused on the visible light.
- We see two spots roughly in the PR2 aperture, one of which has MICH fringes. When we misaligned the ITMs, this spot doesn't go away although it stops flashing. However, when we misaligned PR3, this spot went away. Are we perhaps somehow seeing something past PR2?
Single bounce clipping checks
After this we closed a loop from AS_C to ITMX (then implemented a human servo which was much faster) to scan the angles of IM4 and PR2 while watching the AS QPD sums to see where the edges of the apertures are.
- For IM4, our original slider position was 5800 P 1060 Y, we found the edges of the apperture for pit at 7600 and 2505 and for yaw at 2060 and -340. so the center of the aperture is 5050P 860 Y
- For PR2 our original position is 1730 P 4190 Y for pit the center is 1400, for yaw the edges are 4835 and 3675 so the center is 1400 P 4255 (We found the edges for pitch while we were off center in yaw to save some time).
It seems that the limiting aperture for IM4 pointing is the scrapper baffle, and that we are more likely to be clipping on that than anything else in the PRC.
