Peter K. , Jeff B. WP #7953 This morning Peter and Jeff shutdown the PSL and chillers to repair a leak in the throttling valve installed on the back of the crystal chiller. Both the crystal chiller filters were replaced. After restarting the chillers, Peter restarted the laser with no apparent problems. After changing the filters there was a slight drop in the return pressure from the manifold in the PSL enclosure. The flows to the 70W, FE, and shutter went up slightly. Both of these reactions were expected. After restarting the diode chiller the F3 error condition, from last week, has cleared. Per TermoTek the F3 error condition can be caused by reduced, restricted, or hot air flow over the condenser block. The internals of the chiller and the exhaust air shroud were both clear of blockages or obstruction. Temperatures from withing the chiller housing are in the upper 60sf and in the mid to upper 70sf inside the exhaust air shroud. Will continue to monitor throughout the day and watch for the F3 error's return.
