H1 EX ALS Laser and Rack Grounding Activities
In order to do some cable clean up at EX, the AC power for the ALS laser was removed from the old laser kill circuit. The ALS laser is now controlled by a enable/disable interlock. Old power cable had about 20 ft of extra cable coiled up on top of ISCTEX. While removing power cable the ALS fiber was accidently moved, commissioners were notified.
While looking at grounding at field racks, Richard noticed the electronics bay racks and field racks did not have a true grounding cable tying both rack sets. New grounding cable has been pulled in at EX and EY.
