OBSERVING test successful (Craig, Jamie, Dave, Georgia, Sheila, Keita)
In preparation for OBSERVING time starting some time on Monday for the later half of Engineering Run 14, we set the intent bit in low noise state for a short while just to test our ability to do so. This was announced to JRPC beforehand.
The short OBSERVING segment is approximately Mar/16/2019 02:42:00-02:44:00 UTC.
As a test of the monitoring ability of the guardian, a grad student who shall remain unnamed launched a "rogue" injection measurement, which successfully kicked the IFO out of OBSERVING immediately.
SDF was all either accepted or reverted (or unmonitored in the case of some violin damping settings which are dynamically controlled by the guardian in observation).
SQZ SDF was accepted for injecting squeezing. This will be the default configuration.
Attaching a screenshot of differences in the SQZ and sqz slow controls SDF before we went to "observe". We accepted all of these differences.
