Georgia, Craig Following reports from team TCS that they are changing the calibration with the SR3 ring heater, we have started another SR3 heater test tonight at GPS = 1236763101 (2019-03-16 02:18:03 PDT). We launched a script called autoBroadbandNoiseInjector.py, which every 20 minutes injects tuned PCAL Y noise for 90 seconds, then injects DARM1 EXC noise for 90 seconds, while measuring and saving the data in real time via nds2 iterative buffers. This way, we can monitor how the DARM sensing plant is moving when heating SR3. After every measurement, the script goes back to NOMINAL_LOW_NOISE (and so turns back on the cal lines and ADS lines). In three hours (at 5:18 am PDT) the script will turn the SR3 heater back to 0. We will monitor the cooldown as well. In case of a lockloss or a Ctrl-C, the testpoints will be automatically released properly and the script will terminate itself. This script is running on ZOTWS10. If we are still locked in the morning, I encourage the first person in to Ctrl-C the script (perhaps Jenne, feared destroyer of injections, can perform this task)
Injections stopped. From the range plot, it's clear that we're all the way cooled down, so we should have plenty of info and measurements.
