New DARM Loop Calibration Model, Updated Calibration Line Frequencies and All CALCS Demod Parameters
J. Kissel, J. Driggers

In response to the suggested calibration line frequency moves (LHO aLOG 48512), the changed notch filter (LHO aLOG 48530), and the new infrastructure for the SUS LINES that we now get shipped from the end-station (LHO aLOG 48499), we've changed the following list of stuff related to the calibration lines.

:: copied the finished changes to the H1OMC filter file (i.e. with the new calibration line notch frequency in the LSC-DARM2 bank) to the cal filter archive,
    ^/trunk/Common/H1CalFilterArchive/h1omc/H1OMC_1239468752.txt

:: created a new reference model to point to that the new filter file with the updated DARM notch filter
    ^/trunk/Runs/O3/H1/params/modelparams_H1_20190416.py

:: created an updated script to generate new reference model parameters at calibration line frequencies, aka EPICs records
    ^/trunk/Runs/O3/H1/Scripts/CALCS_FE/createEPICS_for_20190416.py

:: written the new EPICs records
    ^/trunk/Runs/O3/H1/Scripts/CALCS_FE/ $ python3.5 createEPICS_for_20190416.py -w
which generated a new set of EPICs records,
    ^/trunk/Runs/O3/H1/Results/CALCS_FE/epicsrecords_model-H1_20190416_created-20190416.txt

:: changed the calibration line frequencies

    H1:SUS-ETMX_L2_CAL_LINE_FREQ 16.4

    H1:CAL-PCALY_PCALOSC1_OSC_FREQ 17.1
    H1:CAL-PCALY_PCALOSC2_OSC_FREQ 410.3

(Note -- the other calibration lines, 7.93 Hz and 1083.7 Hz driven by PCALY, and the roaming line between 1 kHz and 3 kHz driven by PCALX are still present and haven't changed.)

:: Updated all the demodulation parameters and band-pass filters in the SIG banks (which remain a 6th order butterworth band pass, with +/- 0.1 Hz pass-band surrounding the above mentioned calibration line frequencies),

:: Adjusted the DEMOD phases for each corner-station receivers of the PCAL and SUS oscillators to be one 16 kHz clock cycle delay (because they need advances [exp(+2*pi*i*(linefreq)/16384)] to "propagate them back to the end station," but both PCAL and SUS line excitations' DEMOD output are divided into DARM ERR, and thus the demods are rotated by the amount of phase of a 1/advance = delay, [exp(-2*pi*i*(linefreq)/16384)])
    H1:CAL-CS_TDEP_SUS_LINE1_SUS_DEMOD_PHASE -0.343

    H1:CAL-CS_TDEP_PCAL_LINE2_PCAL_DEMOD_PHASE -7.293

:: confirmed that all of the SUS LINES are using ETMX as their calibration line generator,
    H1:CAL-CS_TDEP_SUS_L1_LINE_END_SW 0.0
    H1:CAL-CS_TDEP_SUS_L2_LINE_END_SW 0.0
    H1:CAL-CS_TDEP_SUS_L3_LINE_END_SW 0.0

:: Accepted all of these new settings in both safe.snap and OBSERVE.snaps of h1calcs and h1susetmx models.

:: Confirmed that the ISC_LOCK / lsc_params guardian code that has only the *amplitude* of the calibration lines hard-coded in to make sure they turn on, so we'll update these once we tune the amplitude.

WE WILL THEREFORE HAVE NEW CALIBRATION LINE FREQUENCIES WHEN WE RESUME NOMINAL LOW NOISE.
We will commission the amplitude of these new lines once we are in the nominal state, so stay tuned on that.
