After exiting the PSL, we watched the PSL temperatures, and waited until they were close to their nominal values, before fully tuning the PSL HVAC to Commissioning Mode.

  • PSL North temperature 73.4F, nominal of 73.7F, delta of -0.3F
  • PSL South temperature 72.9F, nominal of 73.0F, delta of -0.1F
  • we chose to go a bit negative in temperature, since the temperatures increase when we first enter Science Mode
• 19:02 UTC - the PSL has been in Science Mode for about 30 minutes - image 3
  • PSL North temperature 73.9F, nominal of 73.7F, delta of +0.2F
  • PSL South temperature 72.95F, nominal of 73.0F, delta of -0.05F
• 19:27 UTC - the PSL temperatures and the PMC signals, showing signals since the start of Maintenance (4+ hours) - image 4
  • center bottom plot is PMC TRANS, which has recovered it's pre-incursion power level (far left in the plot)
  • bottom right plot is PMC REFL, which is showing that it has not yet returned to it's pre-incursion level, but is on a slope toward that value
  • bottom left plot, center second-from-bottom plot, and right second-from-top plot are all showing a pitch change in the beam, from the PMC and through the IO path
  • left second-from-top and right top plots show the PSL North and South temperatures, which have both risen
