Jason and I cleared out of the PSL around 11:15AM PT, and used a multi-stage transition to Science Mode, which means that the temperature in the PSL recovered within a few tenths of a degree, within about 30 minutes, allowing for locking as soon as Maintenance was over (or possibly a bit early).
Timeline of changes:
- 18:16 UTC, 11:16 PT - laser and anti room fans off
- 18:28 UTC, 11:28 PT - AC off and make-up air to 20%
- 18:29 UTC, 11:29 PT - iss is on
- Jason, Cheryl
Three Plots, 18:16 UTC + 5 hours:
- Plot 1: red traces are the PSL AC temperatures
- Plot 2: blue traces are the PSL North and South temperature sensors in the laser enclosure
- Plot 3: green traces are PMC REFL and PMC TRANS, the step up in power coincides with the ISS being turned on, the oscillations on the right are due to IMC work (not temperature)
