STATE of H1: Corrective Maintenance
INCOMING OPERATOR: Ed
SHIFT SUMMARY:

Troubleshooting was the focus in the morning (Betsy on IMC & Sheila on ASC).  Since thinking about any hardware changes since Maintenance Day, Sheila & Marc went to check baluns (no issue there).  Ultimately, Sheila (& Keita later joining her) was able to get h1 back to NLN by focusing on ASC.  We've been locked for all of the second part of the shift.

LOG:

• H1 in the DOWN/READY state at beginning of shift.  Started locking, but really waiting for the calvary, Sheila!
• 16:49 Transitioned SEI_CONF to EARTHQUAKE (I was a little late on this, since focused on H1 issues. But able to stay around DC Readout for Sheila's ASC work).

  • This was a 5.8 from El Salvador
• 19:56 Back to OBSERVING!
• 21:20-21:48 Heavy rainstorm begins!  
  • 22:05 another storm!
• 21:18 Dave noticed a Slow Controls RED hardware/sensor alert on the CDS Overview
  • This was due to a sensor on the wind fence.  It doesn't affect H1, so will live with this on the CDS Overview until we can head out to EX.

• 21:36-22:41 MY cable pulling Gerardo & Fil
• 22:22 - 22:26 Out of OBSERVING:  Due to Squeezer SHG PZT hit its rail at 0.  It came back on its own!
