- Good Observing duty cycle for the week (99.8% + 86.8% + 91.9% + 72.3% + 99.8% + 100% + 38.9%) = 84%
- Mean BNS inspiral range of about 110 Mpc
- SQZ troubles later in the week. Might need a laser change in the coming weeks.
Daily summaries:
- Monday, 20th May: Day started with strong winds which cause ~ 10 Mpc loss in range. Confirmed by looking at BLRMS monitors and Lasso
- Tuesday, 21st May: 48 Hz ringing up. Some balun work
- Wednesday, 22nd May: Fairly clean observation day. Some low frequency noise at ~ 14:40 UTC.
- Thursday, 23rd May: Some persistent low frequency noise at 9 UTC. Lasso anti correlation and correlation in the first and second analysis segments with H1:ISI-GND_STS_ETMY_BRS_ENC_Y_BLRMS_3_10 and H1:ASC-AS_A_RF42_I3_MON
- Friday, 24th May: Slow, continuous range drop over the day. Appears correlated with ground motion increase in the 0.3 - 1 Hz band. H1:PEM-EY_ACC_BSC10_ETMY_Y_DQ is round 2 Hveto winner, because it saw a loudish glitch.
- Saturday, 25th May: Range picked up from Friday. But dip at 16 UTC. Wind on site, but the correlation with BLRMS doesn't look particularly convincing. The strong wind does seem to cause more glitches as seen in in the glitchgrams.
- Sunday, 26th May: 8 Mag EQ in Peru. Input mirror Problems after gaining lock back. Bad range fluctuations; the SQZ to blame for atleast part of them.
Prevalent issues:
- H1:LSC-POP_A_LF_OUT_DQ and H1:LSC-REFL_A_LF_OUT_DQ are top channels on Hveto for most of the days.
- Violin modes at 500 and 1000 Hz are visible during most days.
- H1:SUS-ETMX_L2_WIT_L_DQ channel also shows strong evidence of scattering on all days.
- 48 Hz rings up on most days.
