STATE of H1: Earthquake

SHIFT SUMMARY:

Started out shift with an earthquake.  Then went out of OBSERVING for a Calibration measurement, and calibration work also caused a lockloss.  Handing off an unlocked H1 to Ed.

NOTE:  Just made it through DHARD_WFS, but if we had trouble with it, Sheila let Niko/us know that we can REVERT RF45 channels in ASC_IMC....but hopefully we are OK with this.

  • Took time to reduce fiber polarizations
  • For locking, first adjusted fiber polarization & then took DOWN since was stuck at FIND_IR.

  • DRMI locked after I clicked SRM in yaw 2-clicks
  • 16:20:18utc  BUT, DRMI was driven out of lock while we noticed OM1 & OM2 saturations (via verbal & on saturation screen)
• Lock#3 (after DRMI lockloss above)
  • DRMI reacquired on its own and selected NLN & it made it all the way up.
  • SDF tiny diffs for ISS Refsignal, ETMy Drivealign & MC3 pit/yaw offsets
• 16:30 Rock moving at LSB.  Bubba called about it and I did not see anything on seismometer trends.  Said this should be roughly an hour.  (Bubba)
