- 7:00-8:00 utc Hand off from Cheryl & figuring out where to start (this is my first shift since bumped ITM camera so not familiar with new issues)
- 8:01-9:53 Hand-alignment (see alog)
- 9:54-11:34 Locking
- 11:35 OBSERVING

- PRMI locked with no issues
- 10:29 Lockloss at TURN_ON_BS_STAGE2 (hindsight: PRC1_P FM2 filter might have helped this)
- 10:30 Lock#2
- Did not see ALSx oscillation from Lock#1.
- 10:43 Did not lock DRMI, so Guardian took to PRMI
- PRMI locked with no issues
- Requested ACQUIRE_DRMI_1F & it locked after PRMI fairly fast, BUT
- while touching up alignment via mainly PRM & BS, Guardian broke DRMI lock to lock to try PRMI & check MICH fringes (but appeared to not do either & returne dot ACQUIRE_DRMI)
- 10:52 Lockloss at ENGAGE_DRMI_ASC....this was preceded with PRM saturation on VERBAL. (hindsight: PRC1_P FM2 filter might have helped this)
- 10:53 Lock #3
- 10:59 Per Jenne's alog: At ENGAGE_DRMI_ASC, went to PRC1_P filter bank and: 1) took ramp time to 10sec & 2) turned ON FM1 filter (per Jenne's alog)----worried I'd break lock, but was fine. Also going to hang out here for a while.....waited until 11:09 as I watched various ASC signals converge before moving to TURN_ON_BS_STAGE2. Also at this point, I returned the TRamp back to 0 sec (but left FM1 ON) for PRC1_P filter bank.
- Noticing ALSx Fiber Polarization at 30....will not address until next lockloss (if I remember)
- 11:35 OBSERVING (after being down for 7hrs 5min)
- One SDF diff for ASC PRC1_P FM1 filter being ON. I accpeted this (see attached), but if this was not accepted for previous lock, I reckon Jenne/Cheryl must have turned off this filter/reverted before going to Observe. So we might want to address this the next time we are out of Observing (I hesitate to go out of Observing and turn OFF this filter, because I don't want to cause a lockloss at this point.)
Thanks Corey! Hopefully things are now guardian-ified so that no one needs to do anything by hand for either PRX in initial alignment, or DRMI ASC. I turned off (and accepted as off) the PRC1 P FM1, so that it is back to how it has been. However, since we don't use PRC1 during full IFO anymore (we use the ADS system to control the PRM pointing in full lock), it would have been okay to turn off this filter :)
Jenne: Ahhhh, thanks for clarifying. (I think I noticed the Input was OFF, but can't remember.) Wonder what got me through DRMI last night on Lock #3...Lock#1 & #2 had locklosses at this point...but maybe it was waiting for ASC signals to converge that helped? But I remember waiting for Locks #1 & #2. So maybe just luck of H1 was looking over me or it was a nice IFO Voodoo step which helped me get through in the middle of the night. ;) Anyway, thanks for the note & glad recovery was smooth today!
