Given the continued instability of dmtviewer on the debian9 nuc5, we decided to run this application back on debian8 to see if this would fix the problem. Instead of performing a full debian8 install on this machine, Jonathan setup a deb8 singularity container configured to run dmtviewer.

The launch.sh script was modified to run the executable /home/controls/dmtviewer.simg, which automatically runs dmtviewer within the deb8 container.

The diaggui process continues to be run in the native deb9 enviromnent.

The deb8 dmtviewers were started at 13:53 PDT, we'll monitor their progress over the course of the afternoon and weekend.
