TITLE: 09/29 Day Shift: 15:00-23:00 UTC (08:00-16:00 PST), all times posted in UTC
STATE of H1: Observing at 118Mpc
INCOMING OPERATOR: Patrick
SHIFT SUMMARY: lockloss, and it appears that the impulse from atempting EQ mode for ISI may be the cause
LOG:
- 16:22 - lockloss, M6.8 EQ off the coast of Chile (was originally a 7.2, revised down to 6.8)
- Robert to LVEA to take pictures at HAM3
- Robert hooked up the controler to focus PR2 camera, not enough light with H1 out of lock, controler was removed, focusing to be done later
- relocking after 58hour lock required alignment of X and Y arms, including ITMs and BS
- bigest change in sliders is ITMX pitch (5 slider counts), however the oplev shows the optic is very close to being back wher it was in the previous lock.
- biggest OSEM diffs, TMSX, TMSY in pitch at around 6-7urad, OMC pitch around 10urad
- one attempt at lockingwas killed by an EQ, small, but badly timed during the relocking sequence
- one attempt at relocking looks to have been killed by ETMX Bounce Mode, plot attached, also a similar lockloss on 26sep2019 at 20:26:22UTC
