On Thursday (10/10) we went to EY to address an alignment issue that I noticed during Tx module maintenance earlier that week. The beam spots on the Rx side had drifted significantly within the last 10 day period, possibly as the result of accidental movement of one the optics or temperature changes at the end station.

We took the alignment opportunity to simultaneously adjust the beam splitter to reduce power imbalance between the inner and outer beams. We lowered the imbalance to within 1%, and then centered the beams on the Rx integrating sphere aperture. I will be checking the alignment over the next few weeks to make sure everything's alright.
