Chiara, Jenne, Jim.
Yesterday, Mon 14th Oct, we modified a number of models to prepare to try the control scheme outlined in T1900656. We hope to use differential CPS signals on corner station ISI's to improve low frequency cavity motion. This is very similar to the measurements Arnaud and Seb have been working on at LLO.
- H1OAF Senders have been added: SRCL/PRCL/MICH CAL are sent to H1SEIPROC. Modifications have been SVN committed, compiled and installed (see screenshot1)
- H1SEIPROC Receivers from RSCL/PRCL/MICH CAL in H1OAF have been added; smoothing limiters have been applied. Signals from CPS and LSC are split: the CPS output is added to the corresponding LSC output, and the sum is sent to the corresponding limiter. Since the use of the optical signals from LSC could provide lock loss transients, and we do not want to lose also the CPS signal in case of lock loss, we have also inclued the LSC lockloss trigger, before the sum and the limiter. Jenne also suggests that we may want a separated LSC to SEI lockloss trigger, but she's not sure what that should look like yet. Modifications have been SVN committed, compiled and installed (see screenshots 2&3). This configuration also lets us use CPS and LSC signals independently.
- H1ISIHAM# All the HAM chambers models have been updated with receivers from and senders to H1SEIPROC, SVN committed, compiled and installed
Now that we have modified, compiled and installed the models, we started to create screens: we need a filter bank matrix for CPS and one for LSC. The output of every row of a matrix will be added to the corresponding output of the other matrix, and the sum will be sent to the corresponding limiter. A draft of the CPS filter bank matrix, LSC filter bank matrix and signals to limiters are shown in screenshots 4,5,6.
Modified models are scheduled to re-start today.
