NCAL Update -- Cabling the Optical Encoder and Final IAS of the NCAL (WP 8442 and WP 8451)

This is the results from WP 8442 and 8451.

At the X-end, we were able to survey the NCAL. Since the all the covers were on the NCAL, we had to remove the NCAL from its' mount and remove the cover to expose on half of the rotor then reinstall the NCAL onto the mount. This was to expose the NCAL rotor and the punch mark that we use as our reference points. Since the NCAL plate now has slots where the bolts fasten the NCAl to the plate, this means the NCAL can translate either towards or away from the chamber before being bolted down. We decided locate the NCAL as far back as the slots would allow. This ensures we have plenty of clearance between the back of the NCAL and the flange bolts on the vacuum chamber. After surveying the NCAL, we removed the NCAL from the mount once more. During this time, we took the opportunity to check all the bolts were torqued down. We followed the numbers from T1100066-v6 using number under the 'generic SS' column. Once all the bolts were checked, the NCAL cover was bolted on and the NCAL was re-installed onto the mount, torquing the bolts down. We ensured we located the NCAL in the same position as it was surveyed in by moving the NCAL as far back into the slots as possible. I cable-tied the orange power and comms cable to the conduit that runs adjacent to the NCAL, to relieve the stresses on the wight of the cable on the connector. The NCAL is now in its final installed state. The only part that is missing is the MuMetal cover to shield spurious magnetic field from the motor because the mounting fixture for this is not ready yet and should not prevent an inital spin test.

The BNC cable in the EE bay was plugged into the chassis as well as the BNC connected to the grey satellite box in the XVEA. In addition, the power to the grey satellite box was switched on thus, there should now be data available on H1:CAL-NCALX_ENCODER_VELOCITY_DQ.

We were unable to spin the NCAL at the end station using the MEDM screen or directly though the Beckhoff software. When looking at the screen on the motor controller, a 'UnderVoltage(E)' error. With Fils helps this, this was because I forgot to plug in the AC power to the motor controller and I had not brought the cable with me to the end station. Thus, I will wait for an opportunity to enable power to the Beckhoff Motor Controller - which was detailed in LHO alog 53208.
