TITLE: 01/12 Eve Shift: 00:00-08:00 UTC (16:00-00:00 PST), all times posted in UTC
STATE of H1: Observing at 117Mpc
INCOMING OPERATOR: Corey
SHIFT SUMMARY: Handed off in Initial Alignment, H1 made it to NLN in about 1.5 hours, despite wind and useism, and has remained locked
LOG:
- 00:59:24 - H1 in CARM_TO_TR, MC2 saturates and can be heard in Verbal Alarms - plot attached
- 01:37:15 - TCSY chiller low flow, since we had Vlad and Ethan here, I went to the Mechanical room and checked on the TCS chillers
- I looked at them, as in gazed uppon their front pannel, and saw that their setpoints were reasonable (not in questions, but never hurts to check, since I was there)
- I opened the access to the filter and adjusted the filter to make sure no air/bubble were trapped (not in question, but since I was there...)
- TCSY chiller looked great
- TCSX chiller had bubble in the filter, so I pulled the filter out of the fluid, to get rid of the bubbles, and reinstalled
- I checked both for fluid level (not in question, but since I was there...), and both are good
- I reutrned to the CR, and the flow had correct itself
- 01:46 - TCSY chiller flow corrects itself - plot attached
- 01:41:26 - H1 to Observe
- 02:44:58 - SEI to EQ
- 03:04:03 - SEI to USEIS-WINDY
- 03:10:22 - went to grab a window and clicked Load Coeff. on ETMY Mode 6 damping filters, which were off - snapshot of filter bank attached
- 03:28:15 - SEI to USEISM
- 03:48:50 - SEI to USEIS-WINDY
- 06:06:39 - H1 out of Observe due to SDF
- channel that tripped SDF was IX violin mode 4 damping gain
- this gain was not unmonitored in SDF, so I unmonitored it
- 06:07:24 - H1 back in Observe - no changes to H1
- 07:32:20 - H1 RANGE = 122Mpc
