The South Crossbeam of HAM7 was extracted this morning. The Crossbeam was held on the Support Tubes & their Jacks while the East HEPI Housing was removed. The crane was connected to the Crossbeam and lifted off the Support Tubes and translated East. The Crossbeam then was rested on jacks while the crane pick was shifted from the ends to the middle. The Crossbeam was then slid sideways ~ 10' so the center pick could be effected. Then the Crossbeam was lifted off the sliding jacks and craned out of the way. Certainly this was the most difficult extraction in this subject effort. The remainder should be much easier.
Attached is an image of the space between HAM 7 & 8 now with the HAM7 S Crossbeam removed.
