Mid-Shift Report - Owl
H1 locked for 8hr 35 min and Observing at 120.5 Mpc
03;33 Switched SEI_CONF to EQ pursuant to Verbal Alarm of incoming 5.1 earthquake from Kodiak Alaska.
- .4 um/sec max Z velocity - no coupling to uSeism
- returning H1 SEI_CONF to WINDY (12:13UTC)
- Door to back patio area near the kitchen was found to be improperly latched and was easily pushed open without use of the crash bar.
- This isn't the first time I've found this door in this condition. The access system doesn't show this error on the control screen. I would urge personnel working on site alone after hours to check this
- I've asked Karen to try the door without her key, first, to check the frequency of these occurences and report them.
