Today, the lower structure of the Quad housing the new ITMy test mass (and associated optics and masses) was re-installed into BSC1. We plan to continue re-assembly of the rest of the parts with the goal of suspending the full chains before the end of the week so that the door can go back on the chamber for the holiday break.
Note: During assembly today, the ringheater RTD temp cable was pinched under the head of a screw and nearly severed. The RTD was likely already non-functional and is unused, so likely no need to make a repair.
Amending the statement regarding the RTD cable: there is no repair that can be made. So, we'll need to make sure in the future to watch for this as a literal "pinch point". Also, thanks, Scott, for the help this afternoon.
