In the LVEA TCS Cabintets (next to BSC3) we have the following SLEDs:
- Superluminescent Diode QSDM-790-5 S/N 07.14.254 - OLD removed Sept 2018 alog#44201
- Superluminescent Diode QSDM-790-5 S/N 06.18.002 - NEW
- Superluminescent Diode QSDM-840-5 S/N 07.14.266 - OLD removed March 2021 alog#58074
- Superluminescent Diode QSDM-840-5 S/N 11.17.127 - NEW
We may soon replace the ITMX SLED using QSDM-
840-5 S/N 11.17.127 (
alog#58569) so will plan to order new SLEDs of both type soon.
Is there any reason to keep the old removed SLEDs in storage?
Last week I found another box in the cabinets containing 2 more 790nm SLEDs. In alog 41411 Aidan thinks that S/N .255 may still be okay.
Just received and will place in LVEA TCS cabinet:
Below SLEDs have all been used/ now broken and are now being disposed of.
Updated in ICS as DEFECT-TCS-7749.
23rd Feb 2022 swapped ITMX QSDM-790-5 S/N 06.18.001 for new S/N 06.18.002, see alog 61892. Comments havce been added to ICS records.
