Cable Pulling at HAM7

Brandon Fil Daniel (mostly B & F)

  1. All in-air seismic cables were pulled between HAM7 and the MER.
  2. All in-air suspension cables were pulled between HAM7, SUS-R4 (field rack) and the MER.
  3. All in-air squeezer and active waveform control cables were pulled between HAM7, SQZ-R1/2 and the CER.
  4. The two in-air cables for HAM5 (OFI TEC & DCPD) from SQZ-R2 were pulled.

We found 3 squeezer that were missing, and one AWC cable that was too short. We used temporary H2 cables for the squeezer and extended the AWC cable. New cables are on order, but probably ~4 weeks out. We also found that the 2 old cabels from the VOPO SUS that originate at SUS-R4 were too short to reach HAM7 through the cable trays. They are currently strung along the floor.

We rearranged and installed the required chassis in SUS-R4 according to pg. 8 of G2101636-v7. We are short 1 Sat. Amp. D1002818, and the ZM3 cables are currently unconnected.

All available chassis were installed in SQZ-R1 and SQZ-R2, and all in rack cables were connected up. Still to do: Finish pulling the cables between the squeezer racks and the optical tables, when they move in place.
