ISCT1 work
Tonight Kiwamu and I started aligning the doubling path on ISCT1, first Kiwamu locked down the table legs and I moved the periscope about 2 inches to the north, and centered the beam as well as I could on the mirrors and leveled it. The beam was large enough to clip on the one inch mirrors so we put a f=600 2 inch cvi lens right after the bottom periscope mirror. We noticed that there are ghost beams coming from both the 5% reflector and the mirror after it; changing the polarization did not seem to change the power in the ghost beams.
After adding an iris we tried to measure the beam profile using the pick off for the DC PD path, but saw that the beam is non gaussian. We checked the beam profile right after the 2 inch lens to make sure the 1 inch mirrors are not at fault, and the beam is still non gaussian when there are no 1 inch mirrors in the path.
